學校簡介

University of Southampton成立於1862年，在1952年升格為英國大學，是英國其中一間著名的研究型大學，並且是羅素大學集團(Russell Group)的一員。現時學生人數超過22,000人，每年有超過7,000名國際學生分別來自134個國家。學校的教職員和學生人數比例為1:12。 大學不論在英國及國際都有很高的知名度，在The Times& Sunday Times Good University 2021的排名當中大學總體排名為全英國15位。根據2021 QS 世界大學排名的排名中，大學的總體排名在全世界排第90名。  

學科介紹:

大學設有八個不同學院，分別為：Faculty of Engineering and the Environment、Faculty of Business,Law and Art、Faculty of Health Science、Faculty of Humanities、Faculty of Medicine、Faculty of Natural and Environment Science、Faculty of PhysicalScience and Engineering、Faculty of Social, Human and Mathematical Science。大學比較出名的科目包括:Physiotherapy、Civil Engineering、Mechanical Engineering、Computer Science，在The Times& Sunday Times Good University 2021的學科排名分別是第22名，第2名，第6名和第19名。

地理位置:

大學位於英國南部海岸城市Southampton，風景秀麗，是十分現代化的城市。去倫敦大概一小時火車車程，十分便利。
